Trivida!

Every modern gladiator’s motto is “Mens sana in corpore sano,” translating from Latin as “a healthy mind in a healthy body.”

latin-mantra

How can you achieve both? While looking for a Taekwondo school for my son, I came across a fitness school that incorporates the entire aspect of the modern gladiator mantra.

I usually do not write about sports, but I simply found the fitness school’s concept unique. It catered to provide people with an all-incorporating routine focusing on fitness, nutrition, and health consultation.

Have you ever been training consistently and suddenly found that you can no longer improve your fitness levels any further? It happens to all of us at one time or another. We hit the “workout plateau,” in which no matter how hard we work out, our muscles are no longer growing or we are losing no more weight.

Why does this happen? You also work out all your life and all of a sudden you no longer do things you used to do, due to body aches or injury. You spend time and money trying to figure out what is wrong with you. You spend your days between doctor’s office, physical therapy, and chiropractor. And if you are like me, you just wish that your chiropractor could follow you to the gym, to relieve your pain whenever you get stuck.

A friend of mine told me to try out Trivida for my son while I was looking for a new school. When I walked in there, little did I know that I would get to meet a true gladiator, a man who decided to follow his passion for medicine and start his own studio to focus on fitness, nutrition, and health consultation. It’s all in one!

Corey Feldman is the owner of Trivida. Corey has worked previously in family practice, emergency, and urgent care facilities. He knew that medicine alone was not enough to get a person on the right track to health.

Corey is a certified physician assistant and certified athletic trainer, and has a master’s degree in medical science and a bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science and nutrition. In addition to Corey’s medical and training background, he is a fifth-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and is level one certified in Krav Maga (don’t worry, I had to Google this one too).

Corey opened Trivida to offer his clients all the tools to live a better life. His focus is to improve your health with nutrition, internal medical care, and custom workouts.

“Trivida was created to provide clients with a holistic routine focusing on fitness, nutrition, and health consultation. We feel these are the three pillars for longevity. Being three and Vida being life, we want to help you improve on all levels so you can be a stronger, healthier person for yourself and your family.”

Corey Feldman, Founder of Trivida

Corey Feldman, the owner and founder of Trivida, provides his clients with the tools, confidence, and know-how to live the lifestyle of a modern-day gladiator, no matter what. Corey Feldman’s studio is staffed with a full time physician’s assistant and an athletic trainer to help diagnose and/or rehabilitate old or fresh injuries and illnesses.

The studio also provides one-on-one nutrition consultation and recommendations for a sustainable nutrition program. Like a modern gladiator, he is fierce in his tasks at hand. He never backs down from a challenge and maintains a strict diet and exercise regimen. He wants to take those same qualities and aid men in applying them to their daily lives in this modern world.

My son has been doing Taekwondo in a different school for over seven years and started to lose interest in martial arts. Due to Corey’s unique skills and approach by combining Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, and Krav Maga, my son is so re-energized that he can’t wait for his next lesson.

As for myself, I have been on a weekly date with my chiropractor and physical therapist for eleven years. Corey is taking up the challenge to have me back on track in six months; I am on the right track to become a fierce gladiatrix. I might show up at the next Modern Gladiator event wearing a cropped shirt! (All right, that won’t happen; my stylist wouldn’t allow me such a fashion faux pas.) As I mentioned earlier, I am not a sport girl—style is what I do—but I believe that Corey is a true gladiator, and if you are seeking that all-in-one place that will get you back in shape, Corey is your guy.
