Dress Better to Feel Better:
Modern Gladiator announces partnership with Adatto Custom Menswear
“You may have heard the saying that ‘clothing makes the man.’ However, I would like to modify that saying with this statement: Knowledge and education is what makes the man; however, clothing and a sense of style defines him.” — Martin Alvarez, Editor-in-chief of Modern Gladiator magazine.
Knowledge and education is what makes the man; however, clothing and a sense of style defines him.
As modern gladiators, our efforts to improve the various areas of our lives can lead to multiple positive effects. Self-awareness about relationships can improve our family life or help us achieve more meaningful bonds. The same goes for the phrase “dress for success”: Dressing more stylishly and paying more attention to what your clothes impress upon others can lead to a better job or more credibility.
In that spirit, Modern Gladiator is partnering with Adatto Custom Menswear and has recently celebrated the junction with an event to welcome Adatto to the Denver market.
Adatto’s CEO, Chase Murdock, says all modern gladiators should be excited about the partnership, particularly since Denver is recognized recently as having one of the most explosive fashion scenes in the U.S.
“Denver is full of gentlemen with an increased awareness of dressing stylishly both casually and for the modern workplace,” says Murdock. “Modern Gladiator represents those aspirational values as well so we are proud to partner with them.”
Adatto specializes in providing high-end, custom menswear at affordable prices for gladiators who are looking for something above retail but can’t afford to go to Saville Row. Adatto provides:
- An hour-long consult at the client’s home or office to determine his likes/dislikes, materials, and personal brand/sense of style
- Complete, head-to-toe measurements by tailor
- Custom suits starting at $300 and topping out at $595
- Shirts ranging from $50 to $90.
Modern Gladiator Editor-in-Chief Martin Alvarez says the partnership will help grow the brotherhood of men that are continually gravitating toward the MG brand. “As we create relationships with quality partners such as Adatto, we will be able to bring to men an amazing brand that will enable them to make the right choices in their journey of developing themselves in mind, body, and spirit. We sincerely invite men everywhere to join the brotherhood that is making a difference in the lives of men and those around them today.”

The recent Modern Gladiator/Adatto Launch Party at Session Kitchen in Denver (see photos) showcased the various offerings of both the magazine and menswear line. CEO Murdock says he hopes that in moving forward, the two companies can expand their networks to help more gentlemen develop their sense of personal style, leading to better lives.
