The stakes are high, and the pay-off is for a great cause. Modern Gladiator Magazine and Novel Bride Magazine are teaming up to bring Colorado the second annual Casino Royale: Benefit for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on Friday, May 11 at 7:00 PM.
We spoke with Modern Gladiator Magazine Editor In Chief Martin Alvarez about the special place this cause holds in the publication’s heart. “Since Modern Gladiator’s inception we have always found it important as one of its fundamental and core values to be philanthropic. We have supported countless non-profits and charities over the years. This year is special because one of our dear friends was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia in the fall of 2017. Therefore, we decided to rally around this cause to help find a cure and to diligently engage in research that will help us. That’s what led us to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.”
The venue for the evening, Vehicle Vault, boasts a collection of rare and exotic automobiles from all over the world and will provide an upscale setting for the party while adhering to the Casino Royale theme and paying homage to international spy, James Bond.
“Vehicle Vault is a perfect location for tying in with our Casino Royale theme, which invokes the spirit of James Bond and romance, as well as the elegance of Monte Carlo and the French Riviera. The Vehicle Vault has an amazing collection of vintage cars that rivals many museums and it is a grand, open space that will be able to facilitate all of the amazing factors that we have playing into the evening that will make it a magical and memorable event,” says Alvarez.
The evening promises to be an elegant affair complete with a fashion show, casino-style poker, live music, and aerial acrobats. A silent auction will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Guests will have to attend to find out what other surprises Modern Gladiator Magazine and Novelty Bride Magazine have up their tailored sleeves. “We have some pretty amazing things at the event that you won’t find anywhere else,” adds Alvarez. Guests are encouraged to dress in formal cocktail attire and to bring cash for drinks and to gamble. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets, events.lls.org/rm/casinoroyale
