Healthier Dessert Options: Easy Fruit Salad

Summer is upon us! With that being said, I am sure you are envisioning yourself behind the grill and whipping up some of your favorite savory dishes for family and friends. If you are looking for some healthier dessert options to satisfy that sweet tooth, we have just the thing for you: easy fruit salad! This simple dessert will take you all of about ten minutes to prepare and will have your friends and family appreciating the fact that you took their waistline into consideration.

Easy Fruit Salad

1 large banana, sliced
1 serving of strawberries
1 can chunk pineapple in its own juice (drained) (May use fresh pineapple; canned was used to save time)
1 can mandarin oranges (drained)
1 serving of raspberries
1 serving of blueberries
1 small tub of light cool whip

Use any variation of three to five different fruits.

Put all fruit in a large bowl and dollop a spoon of Cool Whip on top. Fresh and easy for summer! This is my family’s favorite. The fruit combinations are endless—make your own family favorite!
